Why Do I Want To Help?

I entered the United States Military Academy at West Point in July 2020, where I played NCAA Division I volleyball. I captained the team my final two years, and I was selected to serve as a consultant in the Mounger Writing Center. Through peer tutoring in the Mounger Center and on the women’s volleyball team, I found my passion for helping others articulate their story and communicate in the written form.

In my final year, I served as the Cadet Basic Training Commander, welcoming the Class of 2027 to West Point. Following this role, I served as the second-in-command of the Corps of Cadets. That fall, I earned the Rhodes Scholarship.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2024 and commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. Months later, I began my graduate studies at Oxford. I earned an M.S. in Comparative and International Education and a Master of Public Policy, attaining first class honors in the former.

As I complete my studies, I am eager to use these experiences—learning in intensive classrooms, navigating competitive application processes, and working with diverse people—to help you succeed in the college application process.
